The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco seized large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), as well as smuggled cigarettes and electronic cigarettes.
These seizures were the result of raids in Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh, in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Seizure reports were filed against the violators and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
