Regie provides in-kind aid to farmers who began replanting their fields upon their return to southern Lebanon

The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco supported tobacco farmers who began replanting their fields upon their return to their hometowns in southern Lebanon by providing them with in-kind aid, including agricultural medicines, fertilizers, and rain boots.

In a statement, the Regie said that “The support, which will eventually include all returning farmers, was initially allocated to those who rushed to replant their fields in Aitaroun, Majdal Selem, Shaqra, Rmeish, Jumayjimah, Ainata, Safad al-Battikh, Beit Yahoun, Beit Lif and in the part of Houla from which the Israeli forces withdrew.”
