The Regie Successfully Passes External Audit for ISO Certifications for the Ninth Year in a Row
The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco has announced having secured for the ninth consecutive year both certifications ISO 9001:2005 quality management system and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety. This milestone comes despite the recent war and the numerous challenges and disruptions Lebanon continues to face.
In its statement, the Regie highlighted that the audit was conducted by Bureau Veritas over two days, both in-person and online. It described this achievement for the ninth consecutive time as an "accomplishment" that reflects its resilience "to continue operating despite difficult circumstances" and its "steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality products to the Lebanese people while ensuring a safe working environment for its employees.
The Regie attributed this accomplishment to the relentless efforts of its dedicated team, whose pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement has solidified the institution's readiness to navigate crises and sustain its achievements, even in the most challenging circumstances.
