The multinational company Imperial Tobacco provided financial support to Srifa village, in southern Lebanon, with the aim of helping tobacco farmers after the war and funding development projects that contribute to improving their work conditions.
Last Thursday, the Regie’s chairman and general manager, Nassif Seklawi, welcomed in his office Imperial Tobacco’s representative, Raffi Bakhtiarian, who presented the contribution to Srifa mayor, Wadih Najdi.
Leaf Tobacco Manager, Abdel Mawla al-Mawla, and Head of Agriculture and Purchasing Department, Jaafar al-Husseini, also attended the meeting.
